YANG di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah is currently receiving specialist treatment in hospital in Kuala Lumpur after complaining of leg pain.
Comptroller of the Royal Household of Istana Negara Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin said otherwise the king’s health is generally good and no cause for worry.
However, he said all programmes involving the king have been postponed until further notice.
“His Majesty is expected to return to Istana Negara soon after completing the treatment,” Fadil said in a statement today, adding that the public have been asked to pray for the king. – Bernama, June 20, 2022.
